Complex applications require a careful and precise management to be able to ensure availability and efficiency to Customers and / or internal users. To meet this need ZEROPIU offers application management services in order to ensure the necessary support to the infrastructure management and service delivery.
ZEROPIU adopts, in the definition and delivery of its services, the methodologies and best practices of ITIL v3.
This approach allows to reach high quality levels by ensuring full compliance with the Service Level Agreement agreed with the Customer. The ITIL methodologies are also used in the design phase allowing to tailor the service on the Customer needs, based on the desired levels of criticality and delegation as on the expected workload.
By way of example, considering the degree of criticality of the service, the level of delegation for the application support can be inserted into three main categories:

  • Application Support, where the customer directly oversees the service with the technical competence of ZEROPIU for Incident Management, Request Fulfillment and Access Management;
  • Application Maintenance, where the Customer oversees the service through the technical ZEROPIU team, which agrees with him the mode of operation and intervention;
  • Application Management where the Customer delegates the responsibility of the service handling to ZEROPIU, which operates within the guidelines received for achieving and maintaining expected goals.

Considering therefore the expected workload we can have the following alternatives:

  • Application Management 8 hours per day 5 days a week
  • Application Support 12 hours a day 5 days a week
  • 24 hour a day / 7 day a week protection

ZEROPIU has a solid experience in providing IT services dedicated to management of systems and middleware infrastructures in complex environments due to the reason of the large number of systems and/or technologies.
The activities are not focused only on the day-by-day operations related to the infrastructure management (monitoring and investigation of potential problems) but they are accompanied by the maintenance and consolidation work according to a scheduling proactively planned or executed.
